O2 lease Plan Review.

Ask yourself 1 question, why would you pay £300 to rent a £500 phone only to give it back after a 1 year?

When I phoned up 02 to see what phones were on offer, the sales person started talking about the new 02 lease plan, how a new iPhone would only cost £5 per month, and the contract would be 12 months.

Then I would simply return my phone and get the latest model.

Sounded like a good deal to me.

But that, if you work it out is only £60.00 per year not £300, the catch, you only realise you are paying £25 per month, once you get the bill. and once you get the bill, your returns deadline has expired so your stuck.

When you query the charge that’s when the BS starts, you never speak to the same person, nobody takes responsibility, I was told that someone would review the recording of the phone call, which I welcomed,…that never happened.

Next option – Ombudsman

Had I had all my options explained at the time, I would not have opted for this package. All in all I feel Duped and I am wondering if this will this be the next PPI scandal.
